I'm sure the other day I said that I bought 7, but I must have miscounted.. I bought 8 of them.
The first one I want to do (once I have the supplies) is the 'Pirate' cross stitch. I have been slowly going through them all with my DMC to DBR coverter and getting all the matching colours for them. There are a few that I can't find, but it may just mean me buying a small section of those floss' and taking them to my LBS to match them up.

What will you do will it once you have beaded it? Make a framed picture out of it maybe? I have never heard of a DMC to DBR converter. How do you go about converting the pattern?

ReplyDeleteThere is a website called 'fibregypsy' and she has actually matched up most of the DMC floss' to delica beads. There are a few that she doesn't have and so I will have to covert them myself. It's just a matter of getting that number floss and taking it to my LBS and matching it to the colour beads.
